Blood Tests

Our range of blood test services give reassurance about individual wellbeing and identify potential health risks.

Providing an Insight into Health

Health assessment based solely on physical examination, including blood pressure and heart rate, can’t detect all wellbeing problems. Blood tests provide an excellent opportunity to discover how well the body is working “beneath the surface”.

Whether it’s a risk of heart attacks, a compromised immune system or a low blood count, blood tests can detect a number of potential health problems. The test results can then be used to instigate lifestyle change, prompt further medical advice or provide general reassurance about health.

Our finger-prick blood tests offer accurate results and maximum flexibility. You can opt to take a test at home, at your own GP’s practice, or in one of our blood test clinics located around the UK. Book an appointment or wait for the test kit to arrive at your home – the choice is yours.

When your results are ready, you’ll receive a detailed report which shows your scores for each test and whether they are inside or outside a normal range.

Depending on the testing package selected, further interpretation of the results by our health experts is provided to fully explain their implications and flag any areas of immediate concern. Suggestions for lifestyle adjustments are included too.

Our products offer rewarding insights into personal health and wellbeing. You can trust UK Health Screening to provide a complete, reliable and accurate blood testing service. Book a blood test online today.

A blood test takes a finger-prick sample of your blood, which is then sent to a laboratory for analysis. What health markers the lab looks for in these blood samples are determined by your selected package. Some of our products offer as few as one test and as many as 26. Your blood group doesn’t matter. With UK Health Screening it’s also easy to book a blood test online.
Results for the majority of our blood tests are available within two days.

No. For the majority of our checks, we only need a small amount of blood for analysis. Our testing kits include a specially-designed lancet which makes a small prick in one of your fingers. Drops of blood are then deposited in a collection tube.
Occasionally, the samples provided are not of sufficient quantity or quality to be suitable for accurate laboratory analysis. Depending on the circumstances of each case, we may provide another test kit or refund. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more.
The most important thing to do is to read the instructions which come with each kit. Not all tests are the same and the quality of the sample may be affected by factors such as feeling unwell, existing medication or how much food you’ve consumed. By observing the recommendations for each test, you are significantly more likely to provide a sample which guarantees accurate and reliable results.
Some blood tests may require you to fast before collecting a sample. If you are required to fast, full instructions are given in the testing kit.
